Soak whole raw oat groats overnight
Pure maple syrup or honey (gauge as you mix to get the desired texture)
Pure vanilla extract
Blend in food processor until smooth. Put in mixing bowl.
Now the fun begins – add any, all, or whatever else to your mixture:
A handful of favorite chopped nuts, seeds, dried fruit, fresh fruit such as diced apples, sliced bananas…
Coconut, coco nips…
If you’re going to dry on a mesh screen dab the bottom with ground nut or seed flour or really fine ground coconut – this helps it not to stick. I put mine on the teflon sheets to start than transfer so I don’t dab 🙂
Dehydrate until it’s the texture you want 🙂
