Turkey Sausage

Standard

Mix together throughly; shape into 12 patties:
1 lb ground turkey (lowest fat available)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt

Fry in ungreased skillet or bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until cooked through. Do not over cook.

Read the label as many of the meats have msg added. When the label reads natural flavor – it is referring only to herbs as back in the 90’s it became a law that IF msg is added it has to be listed.

In 2015 my family moved from a small village in mid-Michigan to five beautifully forested acres in Northern Michigan. We love the lakes and rivers, the forests, and the billions of stars we can see in the night sky, as well as the many cultural and historical activities in our area.
