Tolkien and CS Lewis – great friends, their love of poetry and literature and weekly meetings led to the formation of the Inklings and a quote from Lewis includes “is there any pleasure on earth as great as a circle of Christian friends by a good fire?” And of course we cannot forget the glorious books where good triumphs over evil, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia.
